Social Responsibility
The Bumrungrad Hospital Foundation was established in 1990 as a non-profit organization with the objective of offering medical assistance and helping to improve the lives of underprivileged Thai people.
Since its establishment, the foundation has helped over 100,000 Thai people from all over the country receive health check-ups and treatment.
Through its team of pediatric cardiologists and surgeons, the Bumrungrad Foundation has provided operations at no cost through the “Rak Jai Thai” program to underprivileged Thai children in need of heart surgery; as well as providing no cost treatments to those in need of knee surgery through the “Knee Replacement Surgery Program”.
For four consecutive years, the AMCHAM has honored Bumrungrad International for their commitment to social welfare, awarding Bumrungrad International with the AMCHAM “Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition” Award in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
